We are a competition martial arts team focused on promoting good sportsmanship and citizenship in our athletes. We support programs that provide for, enhance, and strengthen participation and competition for amateur athletes.
Training at Power Kix Martial Arts in Stafford, VA, and led by Ms. Arlene Limas, 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist in Taekwondo, our team competes nationally and internationally with over 30 athletes aged 7 through adult.
The Olympic Sparring team began in 1993 and fields 18 athletes. During the 2012-13 competition season we extended our competitive presence internationally by taking 9 athletes to the 2013 Canadian Open, where we captured 7 medals.
The Point Sparring team was created as a separate competition team for the 2012-13 season. We have 16 members, 14 of which are qualified for the 2013 AAU National Taekwondo Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
